The point-based model
According to Ms. Pham Thi Khanh Huong – Secretary of the Party Committee of the Khanh Hoa Province Agencies Block: Nha Trang Tourism College is a shining example in the development of party members, especially in the development of party members among students. The college is the first unit in the agencies block’s schools to establish a party branch for student. We highly appreciate the Student Party Branch model of the college, with the Party Branch Secretary being the Head of the Student Working Department, the Deputy Party Branch Secretary being the Secretary of the School Union, and the Party Committee Member being the Chairman of the Student Association. Especially, through observation, it can be seen that the college is very dedicated to the development of party members among student. All students who are party members are provided with conditions to participate in party activities until they officially transfer to the party after graduation..
The Student Party Branch was established according to Decision No. 12-QD/DU dated December 28, 2021 of the Party Committee of Nha Trang Tourism College with 14 party members. As of December 22, 2022, the Student Party Branch has recruited 11 party members, bringing the total number of party members to 25 comrades. Party members in the party branch are students with good academic achievements, members of the class council and the youth union, who have aspirations and will to strive for the party.
The spread of the model
By promoting the exemplary role and pioneering spirit of party members, along with the enthusiasm of youth, many party members in the Student Party Branch of the college have achieved outstanding achievements and contributed to the common achievements of the college. Many individuals have been honored to receive commendations from the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Ministry of Culture – Sports and Tourism. In addition, party members actively participate in scientific research activities, creative entrepreneurship, campaigns, volunteer movements, and cultural exchange activities. Through these activities, a deep and wide-reaching ripple effect has been created throughout the college, inspiring more aspirations and will to strive, actively studying and training for tomorrow’s career for every student.
According to Mr. Nguyen Doan Thanh – Secretary of the Party Committee of the college: In the coming time, the college will continue to strengthen the development of party members, creating a source of succession for party grassroots organizations at the unit. The development of party members among student focuses on both quantity and quality, so that each student, when becoming a party member, must deeply imbue revolutionary ideals, always strive to improve revolutionary ethics, have good learning abilities, and actively participate in campaign activities, becoming an exemplary model in the student movement of the college.
