I. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implementation of training tasks:
Building and implementing the annual teaching plan and long-term training plan of the school.
Developing and organizing training programs, textbooks, and learning materials.
Planning and organizing admission, graduation, recognition, and award of degrees and certificates.
Organizing and managing the training process and professional development.
Managing exams and assessments according to regulations.
Building and implementing plans for professional and job development for teachers.
Carrying out teaching administration tasks, including: creating tables for teaching administration, teaching and learning, practices and internships; monitoring, summarizing, and evaluating the quality of teaching practices; compiling statistics, reporting according to the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the higher management agencies, and the Principal.
2. Perform tasks related to Research and International Cooperation:
Organize the collection of relevant data, documents, and images related to tourism and hotel business activities. Edit and provide information to officials, teachers, and employees for effective professional work; transfer technology; research labor market, business relationships, training both domestically and abroad.
Preside over the research and propose scientific topics at the institutional level to build advanced teaching management methods to enhance the training quality of the institution.
Organize the registration and implementation of scientific topics at the Ministry level related to the institution’s training majors to meet the scientific and technological needs of tourism and hotel businesses and the demands of the industry.
Research the domestic and foreign markets in related fields to the institution’s training programs for the purpose of business cooperation, partnerships, market expansion, and practical training.
Organize international conferences with participation from foreign countries.
Perform the role of primary liaison for cooperation with international organizations and international cooperation organizations in the field of education, scientific research, and technology transfer.
3. Perform other tasks assigned by the Principal.
