In the framework of the India-South Central provinces cooperation promotion conference in Khanh Hoa, on the morning of March 2nd, 2023, Nha Trang Tourism College  was honored to welcome the business delegation from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to visit and work with the school to discuss the potential for cooperation between the two sides in the field of education in general and tourism education in particular.

Attending the working session were Mr. Satyam Roychowdhary, Chairman of the ICC National Education and Training Expert Committee of Indian universities and businesses operating in the field of education and training; Representatives of the Departments of Education and Training, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Public Security of the province. On the side of the school were the Rector Board, leaders of faculties, and leaders of specialized departments of the school.

During the working session, the two sides exchanged about the potential and opportunities for cooperation between Nha Trang Tourism College and the Indian working delegation. The college’s Rector, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thanh, delivered a welcome speech, introduced information about the school to the delegation, and expressed a desire to cooperate in the field of education, exchange experiences with Indian training institutions.

In the introduction part, information about the school, Mr. Nguyen Doan Thanh emphasized that Nha Trang Tourism College meets all standards for teaching staff, infrastructure, and training equipment, invested at the key vocational level of ASEAN and international regions. He also expressed a desire to receive support, cooperation, and connection with Indian training institutions in the field of education, share experiences and create opportunities for school officials and lecturers to visit India and learn from Indian tourism training institutions.

The Indian working delegation highly appreciated the vocational education activities, the history of formation and development, and the outstanding achievements of Nha Trang College of Tourism. The members of the delegation also identified the common and strong points of Nha Trang Tourism College and universities and colleges in India. All of which will be the foundation for long-term cooperation development in the future, including expert exchange, technology exchange, and training linkage.
